Pricing

Resource-based: you buy reserved CPU and memory capacity, billed per-minute. Burst beyond your reservation up to 3× — the first 10% of the month is free; beyond that you pay overage on the peak above base.

Talk To Us

Bundles are suggested starting points. Customize CPU, memory, and storage in the dashboard — pricing follows the underlying resources.

Storage Pricing

Storage is billed separately at three rates reflecting backup overhead:

  • MySQL: $1.00/GB-month. Includes EBS, hourly snapshots, weekly XtraBackup fulls, binlog shipping, cross-region DR.
  • Workspace files: $0.75/GB-month with file-level restore. Opt out to $0.50/GB-month for whole-volume restore only. Includes EBS, hourly snapshots, cross-region DR.
  • S3 media: $0.25/GB-month. Includes versioning, cross-region replication.

EBS auto-expansion is on by default. We alert at 80% capacity and grow in 25 GiB blocks. Configurable per-plan ceiling.

Overage

Burst beyond your base reservation is free up to 10% of the month. Past 10%, overage applies: 2× base rate on the peak consumed above base for the entire month ($100/core-month, $50/GiB-month).

We tell you when you're approaching the threshold (50% / 80% / 100% alerts). The diagnostic report explains exactly what's bursting and how to fix it.

What's Included On Every Plan

Backups + PITR

Hourly XtraBackup + continuous binlog shipping. Point-in-time restore to any timestamp in the last 14 days. Cross-region disaster recovery.

Diagnostic Reports

Every deploy gets a diagnostic report. Slow query? We name the line. Memory leak? We trace the allocation. Not a dashboard. The answer.

Per-Tenant Isolation

Your MySQL, Redis, and code index are physically separated from every other tenant. No cross-tenant data paths. Per-tenant KMS keys.

MCP + REST + CLI

Your agent operates Synsmarts the same way it edits your code — deploys, rollbacks, traces, code search are first-class tool calls.

Pricing Questions

What triggers overage?

Any minute where your actual CPU or memory consumption exceeds your base reservation is a "burst minute." If burst minutes stay under 10% of the billing month, no overage charge. Past 10%, you pay 2× base rate on the peak above base for the full month — a cliff, not graduated. The cliff incentivizes right-sizing instead of constant burst.

Can I move down a tier?

Yes. Resize CPU and memory in the dashboard whenever you want. Mid-cycle changes prorate at the next billing-month boundary. The platform never auto-resizes you down — if your usage drops, the diagnostic report tells you, and the move is one click.

Are bots and crons billed?

Yes, but the model is per-minute on resources consumed — so a high-traffic bot pays for the resources it uses, no more. No session counting. No bot tax. Crons fall under the same metering as web traffic.

Do you offer reserved or committed pricing?

Not at launch. Once we have 6 months of customer data and you have 30 days of running workload, we offer 1-year and 3-year commitments with discount tied to commitment depth.

Can I cap my spend?

Yes. Budget alerts at 50% / 80% / 100% of an optional spend cap. The diagnostic report shows exactly what's driving cost so you can right-size before crossing the threshold. Hard caps stop autoscaling beyond the ceiling.
